My Dad’s New Car

Melissa’s father was battling an illness that required weekly hospital treatments. One day, he unexpectedly bought a new car, and after his passing, Melissa learned the reason: he had secretly given his old car to Sam, a fellow patient, so Sam could continue traveling to the hospital for treatment. At her father’s wake, Sam shared this story, allowing Melissa to discover a final, beautiful act of kindness her father had quietly kept from everyone.
