Our Story

We believe every learner has “genius” in them and it is our responsibility to help discover and grow each individual's talents and gifts. We are truly “uncompromisingly learner centered” and will go above and beyond for all of our learners.

Tecumseh High School’s demanding courses and programs prepare its graduates for the post-secondary setting along with the world of work. Alongside the courses necessary to be successful in the educational world, THS offers different pathways to learning including our JC Middle College Branch, Tecumseh Virtual Academy (TVA) and Mechatronics program.

THS utilizes different strategies to enhance our learners' education including the use of technology (every student has their own Chromebook) as well as Project-Based Learning (PBL). THS offers 12 different learning facilitator-taught Advanced Placement (AP) courses that challenge our learners in a variety of ways, and provide the opportunity to earn college credit through the AP Exam at the conclusion of each course.

THS has twenty-six (26) varsity sports for our student-athletes along with many clubs to choose from to connect with other learners. Our fine arts programs is highly regarded and consistently scores very high at state competitions. It is our hope that our learners are able to utilize one or more of these different activities to round out their total educational experience.
