I had a lot of fun at the SHMS FutureU on Friday, speaking with 8th grade students about exploring an and career after graduating high school. A proud moment for me was having Rasheed Mc Alpin and Haley Hughes, two Shawnee Heights Unified School District 450 alumni and an integral part of my team talk about their experiences.

Apple released critical patches for iPadOS, iOS, watchOS and MacOS this afternoon. This will patch a flaw allowing click-less infection of anyone’s iPhone, iPad, watch or Mac computer and provides access to the camera, microphone, text messages, phone calls and emails.

Shawnee Heights USD 450 IT Department took a field trip last week to Synetic Technologies office to learn what happens with our devices after they pick them up. Phillip Stark, Gary Agness and Oren Gamble did a great job facilitating the tour and answering all of our questions. We ended the tour with lunch at Chicken N Pickle and talking about additional ways Synetic can help our district, specifically with Apple repairs. The discussions that took place on the drive home from the day will help push our department to the next level. Thank you Synetic Technologies for everything you do for our district.
