📣 Help Shape the Future of Tecumseh Public Schools!

Tecumseh Public Schools is beginning an important district-wide strategic planning process—and we want our entire community to be part of it.

Over the coming months, students, families, staff, and community members will have opportunities to share their ideas and perspectives as we develop a shared vision and priorities for the next three to five years.

💬 Your voice matters. Community input will be gathered through an online survey, in-person community meetings, and a virtual Zoom session.

You may recognize Toni Huff for her work with Community Learning Connections (CLC), but this school year she's starting a new adventure at TMS as the building's Behavior Consultant.

Let’s get to know Toni better:
🏫I have two very active middle schoolers who keep me on the go
☘I volunteer and am the sewing superintendent for 4-H
🏍My family and I love to ride ATVs
💙I am the staff advisor for TMS Students of Support
🎃Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I can't wait to help put on the Haunted House at TMS
🖤I have been working at TMS through Community Learning Connections for 3 years and love our TMS tribe! I am excited for this new position and can't wait to see everyone back!

THS Link Crew Leaders Are Ready!

Our Link Crew leaders spent Monday and Tuesday training, team building, and preparing for an exciting start to the school year!

On Monday, they’ll officially put that training into action as we welcome the Class of 2030 to their very first day of high school!

This year marks our 14th year of Link Crew at THS, and we’re proud to continue the tradition of upperclassmen helping our newest students feel welcomed, connected, and ready for high school.

Celebrating Excellence in Education! 🍎✨

We are proud to recognize the outstanding educators who were honored during the Michigan Teacher of the Year presentation with the Michigan State Board of Education. The presentation included all 10 Regional Teachers of the Year, along with State Superintendent Dr. Glenn Maleyko and Michigan State Board of Education President Dr. Pamela Pugh.

We were especially proud to have our very own Carrie Barden, who is Michigan's Region 8 Teacher of the Year, and Kristopher Hoag, TMS Principal, in attendance to represent our district and celebrate this special achievement.

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the dedication, passion, and impact of exceptional educators from across our state. Congratulations to all of the teachers recognized! 👏🍎
