On Thursday, June 4, Lillian Brueckner and Delilah Wilson competed at the Mid Michigan MEGASTAR Meet at Shepard High School. This is similar to a state meet for middle school and has very competitive qualifying standards.

Congratulations to Lillan for placing first in the large school division for high jump with a personal best jump of 5' 0" and 5th in the 55m hurdles!

Both girls worked hard throughout the season and represented our school well at this level! With only 2 athletes competing, they placed 15th out of 50 teams! We are so proud of you! 🧡🖤

⛳️ Fore! Golf Week in 7th & 8th Grade PE ⛳️

Students in Mrs. Zajac’s 7th & 8th grade PE classes have been learning the game of golf this week! Students practiced their swings on a driving range set up during class and then had the opportunity to participate in an 11-hole course set up around the school.

In addition to learning the game, students are also working on golf etiquette, proper form, and technique in hopes that they will give golf a try this summer and enjoy it as a lifelong activity! 🏌️⛳️

We even had THREE hole-in-ones this week! 🎉👏

Today, our National Honor Society students had the wonderful opportunity to welcome our incoming 3rd grade students by providing tours of Tecumseh Middle School. During their visit, students explored the building and learned where key areas are located, including classrooms, the cafeteria, library, and main office.

We are incredibly proud of our National Honor Society students for serving as outstanding leaders and role models while helping our future TMS students feel comfortable and excited about the transition to middle school.

We look forward to welcoming our 3rd grade families tonight at Tecumseh Middle School and continuing to build these important connections. Thank you for your continued support of our students and school community!

The Digital Divas Middle School Conference at Eastern Michigan University is designed to inspire and empower students to explore opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This conference provides a valuable opportunity for students to gain new insights, develop skills, and make connections that can help shape their future.
During the conference, students participate in engaging, hands-on activities such as coding, engineering challenges, and science experiments. They also have the chance to learn from guest speakers and industry professionals who share their experiences and career paths.
The goal of the program is to build confidence, spark interest in STEM careers, and encourage more girls to see themselves as future leaders in technology and science fields.
