On Monday, June 22nd, the board of directors of CSFT was proud to award a total of $120,400 to 46 Teaneck students graduating from 7 private and public high schools this year! The scholarship awards ranged from $1400-$4200 for assistance with their first year of college educations. The room was packed with families, friends and donors who were so happy to celebrate these wonderful young people, and we are pleased that the Teaneck community continues to support CSFT and these students who represent Teaneck's future! Tonight is our (rescheduled) annual Community Scholarship Awards ceremony, set for 7pm at Teaneck High School. We will be awarding scholarships to Teaneck’s students graduating from seven high schools this year!

Thank you to the THS Class of 1980 who used their recent reunion to collect donations from alumni classmates to establish a generous scholarship fund for future Teaneck high school graduates through the CSFT! This is a great example of how our Teaneck friends and neighbors continue to "pay it forward!"

Our 2026 Teaneck student applicants from private and public high schools are now out in the community fulfilling their fundraising obligations towards their scholarships. They have several different opportunities to get this obligation done. One of the major efforts involves students doing a canning drive at various locations around town -- here are the dates and locations. Please look for them, ask them about their goals for future education, and give them a donation!

The deadline for 2026 scholarship applications has passed, and we proudly announce that 59 Teaneck students from 9 public and private high schools have applied this year! Each student must have (1) submitted their application and essay, (2) fulfilled one of several fundraising efforts, and (3) participated in an interview with the CSFT Board of Directors.

We are saddened to learn of the recent passing of Rev. James Warnke, husband of CSFT's Marie Warnke. He was always a significant supporter of the mission of CSFT to help Teaneck's graduating high school students with some of the expenses of their further education.
