TASD Families: Please take note of the City of Tea construction taking place on Brian St. between the middle and high school buildings when you come to the high school for our MS/HS Student Prep Day on Wednesday! You will need to access the high school parking lot from 468th Avenue (gravel road) and use the west HS parking lot entrance for both entrance and exit. The intersection of Cole and Brian is not accessible during construction.

ATTENTION! Mill and Overlay Project starts tomorrow - Friday, July 31st. Affected Streets Below. Streets will be open to Local Traffic Only - NO Through Traffic. Project will be completed by Friday, August 7th (Weather Dependent). Thank you for your patience as the City completes this project.

Storm recovery continues, and today was an exciting milestone at Legacy Elementary!

Just four days after the storm, a large crane arrived on-site to lift the repaired air handling unit back onto the roof. Thanks to the incredible work of our maintenance team and our contractor partners, repairs have moved quickly to keep our buildings on track for the start of school.

The highlight of the morning? Our TASK students had front-row seats as they came outside to watch the crane in action. This was definitely the highlight of the day! Learning opportunities can happen in unexpected ways!

We are grateful for the teamwork, expertise, and sense of urgency everyone has brought to our storm recovery efforts. Every day, we are making meaningful progress, and we look forward to welcoming our students and staff back to schools that are safe, ready, and full of energy!

Last night's storm left its mark across our community, and Tea Area School District experienced damage to several of our facilities as well.

This morning, our team quickly mobilized to assess the damage and begin the recovery process. Roofers, restoration specialists, and maintenance crews are already on-site, working alongside our staff to address roofing issues, water intrusion, and any other areas of concern. We are grateful for their prompt response and for the dedication of our district employees who have been working since early this morning.

Our priority is ensuring our buildings remain safe, secure, and ready to serve our students and staff. We will continue to monitor conditions, make necessary repairs, and keep our community informed as work progresses.

As we work through our own recovery efforts, we know many families, businesses, and neighbors throughout our community are doing the same. We hope everyone is safe, and we wish the very best to all who are cleaning up and recovering from the storm.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern and offers of assistance. Tea Area is a strong community, and once again we are reminded that we face challenges best when we face them together.
