Another Big Time Day for Taylorville FFA Members at the Illinois State Fair! The number of banners, ribbons, and awards is stacking up! The amount of hours that these kids put in on these projects is enormous. Congratulations kids! Proud of your work! More pictures to come. Please share!

INCREDIBLE! THS FFA Member SUCCESS during the first 4 days of the Illinois State Fair!!! These kids might not have been sitting in a classroom seat the first two days of school, but they all started their days before 5 am and finished well after dark. The hours and days these FFA members put into their projects is staggering. The soft skills they are gaining can not be replicated in a classroom setting. Teachers and staff that encourage these kids, Thank You. It means a lot!We are super proud of these kids and their accomplishments! Christian Co Fair Clean Up was a Success! Thank you to all FFA Members, Alumni,Parents, and Volunteers for your help at fair clean up, set up, and the petting zoo. A special thank you to everyone that brought skid loaders, tractors, and were operators. Over 3 set up days, 5 days of the petting zoo, and clean up Sunday we had 67 different members, alumni, parents, and volunteers help the Taylorville FFA Chapter with Christian Co Fair duties. THANK YOU! Your help is greatly appreciated!

Attention All FFA Members! Tomorrow is Fair Clean Up. We need all members at the fairgrounds at 8 am. Bring a rake, pitch fork, or bark fork. Alumni, parents, and any volunteers are welcome. Lunch will be provided! Please share!

Thank You Y-Zoe's!!! Y-Zoe's Bar held a 70/30 raffle to benefit the Taylorville FFA. Jackie Tolan, Y-Zoe's bartender suggested since the Fair was coming up and a new school year, she said we should do something for the FFA. "We encourage our staff to give ideas of fundraising. Helping the community, especially children, is constantly in our wheelhouse of giving." ~ Vanessa & Brett Wiseman. "The funds would be used to help provide Official FFA Jackets for students who may not otherwise be able to afford them. We never want a student to miss out on opportunities in FFA because of financial difficulties. In addition, a portion of the donation may be used to assist students with travel expenses to attend the National FFA Convention, ensuring that deserving members have the opportunity to participate in this experience regardless of their financial situation." ~ Sue Schafer, THS FFA Teacher.
