Registration is now open for the Memorial Elementary Girls on the Run team for 3rd and 4th grade girls! Our team will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-4:30. What a wonderful start to the school year. The staff at Memorial is so thankful for all the families who were able to make it in for Open House Night. We also had a great first day of school. It is so nice to see everyone back in the hallways.

Memorial Dismissal Clarification:
If you are picking up your student, please drive through the car line. Please do not walk up to the school to pick up your child. We want dismissal to be as safe as possible and we do not allow students to leave the fenced area unless their car is in front of the fence or all cars have gone through the line, at which time we will have a staff member safely walk students across the street. If students live around the school they will be released as “walkers” or bike riders.

Buses were also running late today. Please give them time to get all dismissal procedures worked out.

Each day dismissal will get quicker and more efficient. You can help by calling the school as soon as you know there is a change in your student’s dismissal routine.

Thank you all for all your help and cooperation. We look forward to a smoother dismissal tomorrow!

Meet the Teacher Night is Tonight!!! 5-6pm

🍎3rd Grade - will start in our All Purpose Room for a quick Parent Meeting followed by teacher meet and greets in classrooms

✏️4th grade - will start with Teacher meet and greets in the classroom and then head to the All Purpose Room for a quick parent meeting.

🚗Parking: Please utilize the blacktop area across from the Presbyterian Church or along Walnut street as there is road construction along Main and Adams Street with sidewalks closed.

🌪️ Elementary Teacher Assignments are officially live in Skyward!

Log in to your Skyward Family Access account to see who your child’s teacher will be for the upcoming school year. You should click on Student Info on the left bar, and the teacher listed as advisor will be your child's teacher this year.

⚠️ Important Note: You will not be able to view your child's teacher assignment until online registration is fully completed. If you haven't finished registration yet, be sure to complete that step first!

3rd Grade Families: If your child has been placed in Miss Basil's class, you will be notified of your new teacher's name just as soon as we have completed all the necessary steps. We would like to thank Miss Kayla Basil for her years of dedicated service to the district and wish her the best of luck on her next endeavor.
