Sharing the parade line up info again! This is line up info only!!! Parade rolls at 5:15 down the traditional parade route!

ONE WEEK AWAY from the Homecoming parade on Wednesday, October 14 at 5:15pm. Please refer to the image for how to line up/park if participating in the parade. THIS IS NOT THE PARADE ROUTE!!

PLEASE STOP AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF OUR STUDENTS AT THE GATE AS YOU ENTER. If you are NOT IN the parade or dropping someone off to be in the parade, please don’t come to the fairgrounds. Parking is limited and there is only one entrance/exit. If you have a large group of kids participating, it will be best to meet elsewhere and walk over to the fairgrounds. We are attempting to control the chaos and keep everyone safe. Thank you. We will gladly invite royalty from the Taylorville school district geographic area or Taylorville related events only. The parade will follow the traditional route from the fair grounds to the square. Powderpuff will follow at the football field. We will be taking $1 donations at the gate for those battling cancer through our Tornadoes for Hope program!! Taylorville CUSD #3 Breeze-Courier taylorvilledailynews.com / WTIM

We’re proud to announce our All-American Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal: our principal, Mr. Hutchison, who is retiring this year.

He’s helped us start every parade, supported some of our craziest ideas, and assisted us in making many Homecoming memories. This year, we want to send him off in style by putting him at the front of the parade, not the back after rolling everyone out!

Join us in celebrating him as our Grand Marshal at the parade on Wednesday, October 14 at 5:15 PM when it departs from the Christian County Fairgrounds!
