February is Kindness Month at Vista!

During SEP conferences, there will be four service stations offering meaningful opportunities for students to give back.

These include:
Writing letters or making cards for isolated seniors
Donating baby wipes for babies born in difficult circumstances
Collecting hygiene items for individuals experiencing homelessnes
Assisting in completing a blanket for children receiving care at Primary Children's Hospital

We encourage you to consider donating hygiene items or baby wipes, or even better, join us during SEP conferences to help assemble a blanket or create a card for a senior. For more information and details on how you can participate, please scan the QR code provided. (Click on the flyer)

CONGRATULATIONS to all Vista Students! You did so well on the Worlds Finest Chocolate Bars Fundraiser. THANK YOU!! You raised $12,450!

We definitely exceeded our $5,000 goal. This money goes to all the PTA activities such as Field Day, Bikes n blades, Books & Buddies, Classic Fun Center Night, STEAM Night, field trips, Multicultural Night, Back to School Carnival, Book Fair and more! If you’d like to join the PTA to decide how to spend the money and volunteer to help please join.

We had such a fun assembly to recognize the students who sold a lot of chocolate bars. Some students got to silly string the principal Mrs Wilson, those who sold more boxes got to throw pie in the face of a staff member and our top 2 sellers each got a bike! Your student should have received all of their prizes. Thank you so much for your support and participation!

Field Day is Tuesday, May 21 and of the best events of the year!!!
We need parent volunteers to help run the activities. 3-5 grade will be outside 9-11 am and K-2 will be outside 1:15-3:15. Please use the link below to sign-up. We won't be able to do this without you. The theme this year is “Aloha Summer”. It's going to be a blast!

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is next week: May 6-10. Please join us in telling them they are ✈️ PLANE ✈️ AWESOME and thank them for helping our students soar!

A note should be coming home with your child if they want to write or draw something to a staff member. Keep an eye on Class Dojo to find out a few of your teachers favorite things. If you want yo contribute or volunteer to help with staff meals and treats let the PTA know.

We need help in the Faculty Lounge:
Decorating Friday, May 3 right after school
Setting up Staff Lunch Wednesday, May 8 at 10:00 am
Helping set up Staff soda bar Thursday, May 9 at 10:00 am
