We’re so excited to bring author/illustrator Shawna Tenney to visit our school during reading week! Shawna has published several awesome children’s books and will talk to our students about all the steps it takes to create a book. What makes this even more exciting is that Shawna attended Calvin Smith herself! If you would like to purchase any of Shawna’s books ahead of her visit you can do so at authorvisitcentral.com with code CS2026. Books will be signed by Shawna and delivered to the school at the event. If our community orders 20 books we will receive 1 book free for our library! The last day to order is February 10th!

We had an EPIC glow party yesterday! AND we’re less than $5,000 away from our goal!!

Remember, if we reach 25k Dr. Wilson gets a sleepover on the roof! 🌙 And here’s a teaser… he plans to live- stream a bedtime story and rig up a pulley system for rooftop deliveries!

Donations are open through the weekend — let’s show that Skyhawk pride! 💙

Tomorrow’s the big day! All students will attend the Glow Party during school. Come wearing white or neon colors! Fundraiser donors will earn tickets for extra fun—donate $60 to get light-up cotton candy! Donations made by 7 PM tonight count toward the party. Right now we have earned $16,531!! Thank you to everyone who has been involved! If we can reach $25,000 Dr. Wilson gets to sleep on the roof! We can do it Skyhawks!!

We’ve had many generous donations to our fundraiser! We have currently raised $12,114. The goal to get Dr. Wilson a sleepover on the roof is $25,000. Team Steiner/Van Roosendaal has reached their classroom goal and will receive light up foam wands at our glow party on Thursday. Keep sharing and donating!
