Recently, Mrs. Vance’s Culinary 2 students completed a water glass staging challenge to make the cover photos for their digital portfolios. Students put their creativity and attention to detail to work as they designed and photographed their drinks.

Our SCHS Health Science Classes are partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive. The blood drive will be September 23 from 8:00 to 1:00 in the athletic complex. All donors will receive a $15 e-gift card!

Homecoming is coming up NEXT WEEK, September 14-18! Check out this year’s spirit week themes, all culminating with a BLACKOUT for the game against Fairdale. Also, swipe ➡️ to check out who’s representing your class on the 2026 Homecoming Court!

Remember that all spirit week outfits must still be within the dress code, with the obvious exception that you are allowed to wear pajama pants on pajama day.

We LOVE seeing our community out to support the Bears on Friday nights! Your support means so much to our students, athletes, coaches, and school. As we head into another football game, we have a few important reminders to help keep everyone safe and make sure our games are enjoyable for everyone:

👧🏼 👧🏼 Please supervise children. Children should remain with a responsible adult throughout the game and should not be unsupervised in the stadium or field area.

🏈 🏈 End zone seating: If you are sitting in the end zone, please stay behind the chairs. GHP has camera equipment in the end zone that needs to remain clear, and having spectators too close to the field can also result in penalties for our team.

💥 💥 No artificial noisemakers. In accordance with KHSAA policy, artificial noisemakers are not permitted at athletic events.

🚮 🚮 Clean up after yourself. Before you leave, please take a moment to pick up your trash and leave your seating area clean.
