Each day more than 2.6 million children and 60,000 older adults participate in CACFP programs like Helping Hands. The program provides a vital role in improving the quality of day care and making it more affordable for m

any low income families. Helping Hands through the CACFP reimburses participating centers and day care homes for serving nutritious meals.

Be a part of making Utah the most amazing place for families of all races and backgrounds! We are looking for 2 monitors, one to work with our Hispanic providers, and another to work with our Asian communities. We offer a position that will allow you to earn a living while giving back to our wonderful, diverse community - Come join us! We are entering our 31st year as a local non-profit dedicated to improving the nutrition of Utah's children! Your work schedule is very flexible, with much of the work done from your own home. Some office work would be needed as well. We will train you in all areas needed!

Some of the ways you will make a difference include:
1) Visit and review home day care providers who have joined us to help with basic menu planning, nutritional training, etc.
2) Sign up and train new family day care providers and help them succeed on the program, as well as helping to recruit new home day care providers to join this wonderful program.

Job requirements:
1) High School diploma, GED, or more
2) Bilingual, English / Spanish OR English / Vietnamese preferred
3) Prior child care experience a plus, but not required.
4) Legal permission to work in the USA
5) Have own vehicle and a clean driving record. (We reimburse for use of car).
6) Comfortable with using a computer, iPad, cell phone, etc. We use technology to increase our effectiveness.

We are looking for an energetic person who loves to work with people and wishes to work in a way that gives back to our community - especially the children. We help and support child care providers, especially those in our refugee and immigrant populations. This position would allow the right person to work directly with our providers- encouraging, teaching and assuring that the children in their care are receiving healthy, balanced meals. The job requirements include:
1) high school diploma or GED
2) interest in or experience in the child care field.
3) have access to own vehicle and a clean driving record
4) able to pass a basic background check
5) comfortable working on computers or with technology
6) bilingual English / Spanish
7) have legal permission to work in the USA

No experience with child nutrition programs needed, but its' a plus. We will train in you all that you need to successfully complete this job. This job can be partially done from home, or the office, but the majority will be in the provider's homes. The hours are very flexible.
