Taylorsville, Granger, Hunter water pollo alumni game this Friday at taylorsville high at 6 pm. Come participate or watch the fittest kids in school (or at least we were). Ok, truth be told we are all out of shape. None of have time to swim 2-4 hours a day like we did in high school. It will be fun.

I wanted to post this for one of our warriors. Brandon Ruiz is the National Champion for his weight in Greco Wrestling. In order for him to try for the World he has to fund his own way to Hungry. I would like to see all of us support him and help donate something to his trip. He is a class of 95 warrior. His wife is also a 95 warrior. Thanks to all who posted deaths of warriors. The sad part is so many of them died of su***de and drug overdoses. My challenge to all of you is reach out and meet someone new on this page. You have one year to become their friend. When the reunion comes please greet them with kindness. May our 20 year reunion be filled with good memories that include old and new friends. No one knows what a simple act of kindness and friendship can do in the life of someone struggling just to get up in the morning.

If anyone knows of any other warriors that died since graduation please list them here. I would love to have a table or something listed on a wall at the reunion to honor our friends that left too soon. So far I have Kari Walker, Matt Sortor, Brandon Boyle, Gwen Artois Sandoval. I know there are others so please post and if you have a link to their obit it would be great.

In 2007 we lost warrior Matt Sortor. He was a swimmer and water polo player. He always swam in the lane ahead of me because he was so dedicated and worked his butt off to get better.
