Today is Teacher Appreciation Day in our week of Staff Appreciation. This includes all our Teachers and Aides. Did you know that MVE's teaching staff comprises more than 65 amazing individuals? Thank you ALL for making Mountain View fabulous!!

Today is Office & Professional Staff Appreciation Day in our week of Staff Appreciation. This includes our Administration, Clerks, Secretary and Counselors. We appreciate you all; thank you for everything you do for our school!!

Please consider helping us cover the costs of special yard signs for all of our MVE Staff.
The signs will be placed at each staff member's home (delivered by Ms. Gibson, Mr. Staggs and/or PTA Board). Each sign will be around $4 and since MVE has around 100 staff members, the total will be around $400. PTA is committed to helping pay for the signs, but we are seeking donations to help offset the cost and not drain needed resources from the PTA budget. All donations are greatly appreciated!
There are two ways to donate:
• PayPal donations can be made to [email protected] (that's a zero before the 71). PayPal automatically defaults to "paying for an item or service", so PLEASE change it to "sending to a friend" so that we don’t lose fees from the transfer.
• Credit/Debit Card Donations can be made through MemberHub. There are very small fees associated with this type of donation ($4 for $100 donation). $4 is the minimum donation when donating through MemberHub, but you can enter any amount above that for your donation .

If we were in school this week, it would be Staff Appreciation Week. We still want to recognize our amazing MVE Staff; it will just need to look a little different this year. PTA is mailing a small surprise to each of our staff members to make sure they each know they are loved and appreciated.
But we want to do more to bring smiles to their faces and we’d love your help! While yard signs were on our minds because of the 5th graders, we thought that maybe it would be great to honor each of our staff members in the same way. NGU PrintHub has, again, given us a special price for creating yard signs for each staff member. Our 5th grade students deserve a little recognition since they are missing out on all the fun 5th grade and end-of-year activities they would normally get to experience. NGU PrintHub has given us a special price to create a yard sign for each MVE 5th grade student. The signs will be put up at school and then each student can take his or her sign home after a certain period of time. The signs will be around $10 each (plus tax). For all our 5th graders, the total will be over $1500. PTA is committed to helping pay for the signs, but we are seeking donations to help offset the cost and not drain needed resources from the PTA budget. All donations are greatly appreciated!

Tonight was supposed to be All Arts Night. Art Club has worked very hard all year to get ready. Since we can't be together to celebrate Art, we have put together a collection of activities (some that we were planning to do tonight and some extras) that use things that you might have around your house. We hope you enjoy our VIRTUAL All Arts Night!

Materials - thick paper or cardstock, gift tissue paper in multiple colors, scissors, crayon (optional), paintbrushes, paint brush

Spirit Sticks will be on sale on Wednesday, March 11 during lunch. After eating lunch, students may visit the Spirit Sticks store to make their selections. Please note that children are limited to no more than 3 Spirit Sticks - please do not send more than $3 in cash or check (made to MVE PTA). The designs you see here are just a sampling of the many fun designs we have available.
