Tavares FFA Welcome to Tavares FFA! We are the official FFA Organization for Tavares High School.

If you are interested in agricultural education and the FFA organization, this is the place for you! Tavares FFA is a chapter of the Florida FFA Association and is the official FFA chapter of Tavares High School. We would like to welcome students enrolled in this school who are interested in agricultural education and the FFA Organization.

Hello everyone. This is a reminder to have your paper work and dues turned in by September 21st (next wednesday). We will be using the paper work to order club shirts. You payed for these shirts when you payed your dues. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hello all. I'm writing this to you all as a reminder that as of now, Dr. Brown is your new ag teacher and FFA Advisor for THS. If you need anything Tavares Ag or Tavares FFA related,ā¶ Dr. Brown will now be the point of contact. He is very excited to get started!

I shared with him a 9 page document I made with crucial "what you need to know about Tavares Ag and FFA" information, so I hope that helps him hit the ground running. But, keep in mind that he will do things his way, as well. Please don't expect him to be just like me. I wouldn't have wanted people to expect me to be just like Mr. Turk (40 year ag teacher before me). So, please give him a chance and help him as best you can.

I hope you all have an amazing next year. I will be happy to help if you have questions or need advice, as I know this is hard for everyone. And I will look forward to seeing your animals at fair and seeing you guys at banquet and graduation (so long as I'm invited ā¤ļø). Take care!

Hello all. I hope your summer is off to a great start. Here's a reminder about the farm clean up this Saturday, June 11th, beginning at 8 am - around 11/12 (whenever we get a good chunk of work done). Also, I am happy to announce that THS administration has hired a new ag teacher for next year. His name is Dr. Brown. I have invited him to farm clean up. He did accept the invite, so this will be a great opportunity for you to meet him. If you're unable to attend, I'm sure you'll be able to meet him in July/August. If you have any questions, let me know.
