You’re not just booking a photo session with me. You’re booking an experience.

When I photograph a couple, I’m not just the photographer anymore. I’m basically the director of your little movie.

We set the scene, and then I guide you through it.

You don’t need to know where to put your hands. You don’t need to practice poses beforehand. And you definitely don’t need to show up knowing how to look “natural” in front of a camera.

I actually had a client show me an inspiration photo once and say, “We love this, but we can’t figure out how to pose like that.”

And my answer was—you’re not supposed to.

Because most of those effortless, cinematic moments aren’t created by telling someone, “Stand here, put your hand here, tilt your head.”

They’re created through movement, direction and emotion.

I might tell you where to start, give you something to do, create a little scenario, and then let the two of you take it from there. The laughter, the excitement, the way you look at each other, the tiny in-between moments—that part is yours.

That’s cinematic photography to me.

You’re living the moment.
I’m documenting it.

Maybe you’re having a picnic in the park. Flying a kite. Cruising around on beach cruisers. Paddle boarding together. Running through the water. Rolling around in the sand.

Whatever we dream up, you’re actually doing it.

And I’m right there directing your little movie and capturing everything that happens along the way.

So when you see “the photographer” vs. “the photos”…

Just know there was a whole lot happening on my side of that camera to get you there. 😂

You bring your person. I’ll bring the direction.

You just have to be willing to go all in!

As Clover Café has just hit a milestone - OUR 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! - We wanted to take a moment and reintroduce ourselves. We're Chase, Jenna, and Clover, owners and operators of this unique experience we call Clover Cafe. From our incredible locals and vendors to the friends and families who’ve supported us since day one, you’ve made Clover Café what it is.

Our mission is simple: create a space where anyone can share their voice. Whether you’re stepping up for open mic, settling in for movie night, writing books, or camping out with your laptop, this café belongs to you as much as it does to us. Clover will continue to interrupt performances for scratchies as needed.

In one year, we’ve watched strangers become regulars and regulars become friends. Thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to see what year two brings.
