Congratulations to the 27 Taunton High School juniors recognized at the school's first-ever Junior Book Award Ceremony! 🎉

Sponsored by colleges, universities, and other organizations, these awards recognize students for their academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to success. Many also provide access to scholarship opportunities, special admissions pathways, and connections with the sponsoring institutions.

Together, this year's recipients were recognized with more than $1.77 million in potential scholarship funding from colleges and universities across the country.

We are proud of these students and all they have accomplished, and we look forward to seeing what they achieve during their senior year and beyond! 🎓📚

Taunton Public Schools will be closed on Friday, June 19, for the Juneteenth holiday.

Classes will resume on Monday, June 22. We look forward to welcoming students back for the final days of the school year.

Good luck to Taunton High School student-athletes Max Cassinelli and Sophia Olinayan as they compete in the MIAA All-State Track & Field Championships at Merrimack College!

Both athletes earned their place at the All-State Meet through outstanding performances at the Divisional Championships. Sophia finished 2nd in the discus and 3rd in the shot put, improving from her 6th-place seeding in the event. Max captured the Divisional Championship in the javelin with a 1st-place finish.

Congratulations to Max and Sophia on their impressive accomplishments, and best of luck as they represent Taunton High School on the state's biggest stage!
