In November we celebrated Dia do São Martinho. This is a special day in the Portuguese culture to celebrate Martin of Tours, a 4th century Roman soldier who was known for a miracle. The Portuguese culture typically celebrates the day annually with chestnuts and wine.
At Portuguese School this year, we celebrated with songs from our younger students and a play from our older students. We finished the night with chestnuts, wine and Portuguese bread.
It was a wonderful evening celebrating with our Portuguese School community.

Terminamos a noite come castanhas, vinho, e pão português.
