1st Hour is English
We go over the English reading comp skills and grammar needed to master the tests
We will cover :
Grammar Rules: Parts of speech, sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation.
Sentence Correction: Identifying and correcting errors in sentences.
Writing Style: Clarity, conciseness, coherence, and logical organization of ideas.
Vocabulary: Understanding words in context and improving vocabulary skills.
Rhetorical Analysis: Analyzing and revising passages for effectiveness and coherence.
2nd Hour is Math
This is great for students who have gaps in their math skills needed for the SAT/ACT we will cover:
Algebra: Linear equations, systems of equations, inequalities, and quadratic equations.
Geometry: Properties of shapes, angles, triangles, circles, and coordinate geometry.
Trigonometry: Basic trigonometric functions, identities, and applications.
Data Analysis: Interpretation of graphs, charts, and statistical data.
Word Problems: Strategies for solving word problems and applying mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios.
Overall ! Every Sunday we will work on improving test-taking skills
