Teachers of Faith, who is your instructional coach?
🚀An instructional coach collaborates with teachers to assess their current reality in the classroom, looking at the cultures in the society, and the teachers’ beliefs;
🚀the teacher and the coach set goals; the coach identifies and explains teaching strategies relevant to the teacher’s students to hit the goals set,
🚀and [the teacher] provides support until the goals are met.

Teachers of Faith,
A Psalm of Praise (100)
[1] Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. [2] the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. [3] Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. [4] Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. [5] For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Prayer for our Students:

I decree and declare, this is the year that our students will amplify their voices and speak their truths; and this will be the year when teachers listen as their students speak.

“And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.”

W.O.W. Words of Wisdom
“And the Lord said you will lend to many nations, and you will not borrow. I will make you the head, and not the tail; and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath; if you will hear, listen and obey my laws.” - Deuteronomy 28:12-13

Evening Meditation:

On December 25, 1952, Queen Elizabeth II gave her first Christmas message to the people of the United Kingdom. During her speech, she made mention of her upcoming coronation, and she requested that her people pray for her to be led by God in her service to Him and to the country:

“I want to ask you all, whatever your religion may be, to pray that [on the day of my coronation] God may give me wisdom and strength to carry out the solemn promises I shall be making, and that I may faithfully serve Him and you, all the days of my life.”

Scripture for Meditation - Judges 4:6-9
[6] And Deborah sent and called Barak and said unto him, “The LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, “Take ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun
[7] And I will deliver Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude, into your hand.”
[8] And Barak said to Deborah, “If you will go with me, then I will go: but if you will not go with me, then I will not go.”
[9] And Deborah said, “I will surely go with you, but because of your attitude in this matter you will not receive the glory for this battle; the Lord will put Sisera into the hand of a woman, and she will take his life.”

We have a lot to learn from Barak’s error in leadership. God gave him the authority to get the honor for winning the battle against an enemy of the Israelites, but he did not feel he could do it without Deborah. In fact, he told God that if she did not go with him he would not go at all. Since he doubted God’s ability to lead Him, God gave the glory to someone else, but he was there to confirm the fulfillment of God’s promise.

Has God called you to do something spectacular in your teaching career, but you’re too scared to go alone with Him?

Maybe you’re looking to your teaching tribe or friend circle to help you out? Do you know that doubting God could cost you the next opportunity that God has positioned for you in your life?

Take a moment to reflect on this.
