We have some news to share. First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to an anonymous donor for their generous $100 contribution. Your support means the world to me.
After safely evacuating to Georgia during Hurricane Milton, we returned to find our home spared from severe damage, but we know many families were not as fortunate. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to get our generator to start, resulting in the loss of our fridge contents. Without electricity, we’re making do as best we can, getting by on peanut butter sandwiches and using up whatever food we can before it spoils.
Many children in our community are now grappling with trauma from the recent hurricanes, and some may be experiencing PTSD. This GoFundMe is dedicated to supporting these children through art therapy classes in schools affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Your contributions will go directly toward purchasing supplies and covering the time and resources needed to provide a safe space for these children to express, process, and heal through creativity.
