Mr Rogers- 33 years
Sadecky’s Puppets- 39 years

On this day in 1968, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood was broadcast nationwide for the first time! The show would go on to air for 33 years until its final episode in August 2001.

Prior to establishing Sadecky’s Puppets I had an early start performing shows as a teen. This is the cassette tape that housed the audio for my very first paid production in 1971, “The Night Before Christmas”. Sadly, I later used the tape to record some original song ideas over top of the show. It would be such a trip to hear that audio today. Thankfully I do have all the Sadecky’s Puppets audio saved except 5 shows from 1981. Some still on tape so soon I will be archiving the rest of those digitally.
