Ongoing programs include, but are not limited to the following: operating and maintaining an art museum, the 1808 era Blount-Bridgers House; operating a history museum, the Pender Museum (Silas Everette house); operating the Hobson Pittman studio, an exhibition on the artistic works of Tarboro native, painter Hobson Pittman. ECCAC also conducts art classes, sponsors cultural events in the county, and maintains the architectural records of the Tarboro Historic District and Edgecombe County.
