Due to continued hazardous weather conditions and dangerous roads, as reported by the National Weather Service and local forecasts, all Taos Municipal Schools, including the district administration building, will be closed on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

The safety and well-being of our students, families, and staff remain our top priority.

The Taos municipal school district and the Taos Charter School District are calling a two hour delay tomorrow, 1/21/2025 due to cold weather and subzero wind chill factor. This means that classes will begin for K through fourth grade at 10:15. Classes will begin for fifth through eighth grade at 9:45. There will be no ski program tomorrow. All students will be in class. Thank you for your understanding , and we look forward to seeing everyone.
