The Homestead Schoolhouse Reclaiming the values and skills
upon which America was founded The plan is to open as a K-8 school in the fall of 2024 or 2025.

The Homestead Schoolhouse is a Christian school under development in beautiful Taneyville, Missouri. Our dream is to build an old-fashioned one-room schoolhouse where students will be taught the Bible, academic subjects, and practical hands-on skills in a rural homestead environment. Our eventual goal is to become a full K-12 Christian school. We invite you to follow along as we watch God work. We are asking Him to write this story.

August 15, 2024 was a day we'll never forget!! We opened our door to 23 students, and the journey had just begun! Soon, we will be ringing the bell and raising the flag once again, kicking off our 3rd year! This time, we'll welcome 45 students to The Homestead Schoolhouse to begin another year of love, laughter, and learning! We can't wait to see what is in store for us!
