We are looking for doctoral students to join a new graduate program at the University of South Florida (Tampa): PhD Fellowships in Areas of National Need for Redesigning Resilient Transportation and Water Critical Infrastructures. The program compliments active NSF PIRE, NRT, CRISP, and IRES grants directed by our group.
This program will train a large cohort of PhD civil engineers (concentrations of environmental, water resources, and transportation) to apply systems thinking to innovate solutions for local, regional, and national problems related to designing, operating and managing resilient, sustainable, interdependent, and critical infrastructures.
Fellows will receive an annual stipend of up to $34,000 plus an institutional payment of $15,750 to cover tuition, fees, education & research supplies, and travel to a professional meetings. Fellows will also have health insurance provided to USF graduate students.
