Today we kicked off Start With Hello Week at Coleman Middle! 👋 This week is a schoolwide opportunity to spread kindness, connection, and encouragement every day—so students feel seen, supported, and part of a caring community.

Today, students received positive bracelets to remind us that mental kindness and positive thoughts matter. After school, our staff will also watch the “Act Now” presentation. ACT stands for Acknowledge signs a student may need mental health support, Demonstrate Care in interactions, and Tell a trusted adult (school personnel, parents, and others).

🏀 Basketball Tryout Schedule 🐍

6th Grade Boys: Mon, Aug 24 @ 7:45am
7th & 8th Grade Boys: Tue, Aug 25 @ 7:45am
All Grades Girls: Mon, Aug 24 @ 3:30pm & Tue, Aug 25 @ 4:30pm

Tryouts typically run 1–1.5 hours. Tryouts will be held in the gym. 📩 Mrs. Carter is reviewing applications today through Sunday. Please watch for your approval email. ⚠️If you did NOT receive an approval email, students should NOT attend tryouts.⚠️
