Good evening, Tinker families.

Thank you for your patience and support as we settle into our new building. We appreciate everyone following the arrival and dismissal procedures. Car-rider families, please use your turn signal to help Officer Powell direct traffic efficiently.
Important updates:

• Pre-K through 3rd grade, the main office, and the Media Center are in the new building.
• Grades 4–8 and the clinic remain in the old buildings. Please allow extra time when picking up students from these areas.
• Conference Night has been rescheduled for September 24. Teachers will share updated schedules.
• Start With Hello Week is September 21–25. Please review the attached spirit-day flyer.
• If lightning occurs within five miles during dismissal, please remain in your vehicle and use the car line.
• The boys’ basketball team plays Monday at Madison at 5:30 p.m.
• Students may wear house colors on Wednesdays and red on Fridays.
• Thank you for continuing to support our uniform policy.

Gates open at 7:30 a.m., and instruction begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. We look forward to another great week of learning!

Tinker Families: Reminder that Monday's Basketball game at Madison is BOYS ONLY and starts at 5:30pm. Boys should arrive at 5:00pm for warm-up. Come on out and cheer on our Tigers!!

Tinker K-8's inaugural raising of the Flag at our new school was held today at 10:28am to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the falling of the Second Tower. A moment of silence was observed at that time. Tigers Never Forget.

Good morning, Tinker Families.

We have 3 upcoming opportunities for Middle School students to receive free ECGs in Hillsborough County. While the Second Chance Act does not require Middle School students to receive scans for athletic participation, this preventative measure has already proven to save lives.

Especially for 7th & 8th graders, if they get their ECGs now, they will not have to re-do when it is time for high school clearances. So it's a win-win to get their scans out of the way. 💓
