From Tampa to Wiesbaden, Germany, two University of Tampa students are gaining international experience in branding, communication and global collaboration.
The students are participating in RheinMain University of Applied Sciences ninth International Summer School in Intercultural Branding, Marketing Communication and International Careers from Aug. 2-7. Alongside Professor Lina M. Gomez-Vasquez, they are working in international teams to solve a communication challenge for the German multinational company Seibert Group.
The program brings together 35 students from Singapore, South Africa, the United States, Germany and Switzerland.
The opportunity is made possible through an agreement between UTampa and RheinMain University that allows up to six UTampa students to attend annually. This year, eligible Department of Communication students applied through UTampa's International Programs Office and were selected based on GPA.
