Hello TBT Families,

Our summer tutoring sessions are here for 2023 to get students prepared for the upcoming school year! With new standards in both Math and Reading, there are some gaps that our students have faced this year and will face again next school year. This is where Tutored By Teachers comes into play!

A few important details:

There are 2 types of sessions available this summer.

1. Individual Sessions: ​​$40 hour per child
- Sessions are based on parent input and student needs
- Content focused on core subjects such as reading and math
- Can book up to 2 sessions each week, all summer
-->1 session per week: $40
-->2 sessions per week: $75

​2. Group Sessions: ​​$25 per child
- Sessions are based on developmental levels
- Social-Emotional lessons and STEM activities
- Only on Wednesdays for 45-minute group sessions
- 6 children in the small group all working collaboratively

​Payment Information
1. Cash
2. Cash App: $TamonRenee (+$2.00 deposit fee)
3. Zelle: Using my phone number or email
- Payments are accepted after service is rendered but preferred prior to.

Cancellation Policy
Being that this is a self-service small business, it is imperative that session cancellations are timely. We have a 24-hr cancellation policy. No Call, No Show scheduled sessions will incur a deposit for the next session scheduled. You are welcome to pay in advance. Within the day, life happens, please give me at least an hour heads-up if you do have to cancel a session. Each session comes with a 10-minute grace period. AT 12mins past the scheduled time, you will have to reschedule the session and pay a deposit. *An inconvenience fee will be applied to late cancelations, as well as late pick ups. If you cancel a session within 30 minutes of the session, half of the payment is due as an inconvenience fee. Otherwise, it's business as usual.*

To register, please pay attention to the dates and times before choosing slots.
* Wednesday group sessions can have up to 6 slots per section.
* Please decide on the section for your child based on their developmental levels.
* If you are unsure, I can administer an evaluation to determine which group best fits your child/children.

Love this idea! ❤️ Each child in the school was given a 1/4 of a circle to decorate how they wished. Their art pieces then came together to produce this beautiful mural!

Parents, here are some FUN things & QUICK Tips for when the power goes out!
1. Make shadow animals and tell stories using a flashlight and your fingers. 🔦
2. Tell knock knock jokes. 🤣
3. Make a pillow/blanket fort in a safe area in the shape of a tent.⛺️
4. Use a photo album to retell stories from your memory of the kids from when they were younger. 🗣
5. Play Jenga! Be creative.
6. SLEEP 😴(Benadryl or those gummies work)
7. Use headphones 🎧 for toddlers to minimize the sound of the wind and possible debris.
8. Put juices in a cooler with ice to minimize opening the fridge. 🧃
9. Painting🎨 in the dark. Use candles🕯 for light, plain paper and crayons or paint. (Be extra- project a shadow of an object(s) and try to paint it/them.
10. Make sock puppets!🧦
11. Teach them how to tie their shoes!👟
12. Make paper airplanes.✈️
13. Make pinwheels or kites and place them outside to watch the wind.🪁
14. Download episodes of their favorite shoes for access when the internet is down
15. Decorate a box 📦 on the inside and make a habitat.

LASTLY,... HUG THEM. PRAY WITH THEM. REASSURE THEM that this too shall pass.🥰
