As many of you know, in Fall 2015, Tampa Bay Children's Chorus and Gulf Coast Youth Choirs merged, creating Lumina Youth Choirs to continue to honor the traditions and founders of both parent organizations, including our wonderful founder and long-time Artistic Director, Dr. Averill Summer. These wonderful people were chaperones for 18 middle and high schoolers. I could not be more appreciative of their help and dedication. And our amazing bookkeeper Brenda Menendez was instrumental in making all our reservations. We are so grateful to you all.

After a visit to the Empire State building Observation Deck, and the American Museum of Natural History, we are on the plane flying home to Tampa/St. Petersburg. Words cannot express how proud we are of our choristers. Singing in Carnegie Hall is an experience of a lifetime.
