🎓 Senior Send-Off, Tuesday May 26 at 6:00pm
Before graduation, we’re hosting a special celebration for seniors to come hang out with friends, enjoy dinner together, and celebrate everything they’ve accomplished before graduation day. We will be offering dessert on us for seniors and have something special planned for employees who are seniors as well.

📣 Tell Florida Lawmakers: Students Deserve Fully Funded, Accountable Public Education

Florida lawmakers are finalizing the 2026–27 state budget right now and the decisions they make will directly impact students, educators, and public schools across our state.

Florida families need a budget that invests in students, strengthens neighborhood public schools, and protects taxpayer dollars through transparency and accountability.

We're calling on lawmakers to prioritize:
• Strong funding for public schools
• Protection for essential student services
• Investments in educators and classrooms
• Accountability and oversight for voucher spending
• Fair and stable funding for school districts

Recent state audits uncovered serious problems in Florida's voucher system, including:
• Approximately 30,000 students the state could not account for
• $47 million in delayed payments to school districts
• $270 million in excess voucher payments

Florida families deserve better.

If public funds are being spent on education, there must be clear safeguards to ensure every student is counted and every dollar is tracked responsibly.

Tell lawmakers to support:
• A statewide student ID system for all students receiving public education dollars
• Transparent financial reporting and oversight measures
• Funding protections that prevent instability for public school districts

Florida's students cannot afford more underfunding, more instability, or less accountability.

An increase that does not keep pace with inflation is a cut and our schools are already being asked to do more with less.
