Community School of the Arts | Tampa Arts Classes | Corbett Prep Community School of the Arts (CSA) has offered music, drama and art lessons for kids in the Tampa Bay area for more than 20 years.

Les Misérables is the world’s longest running musical — a true modern classic based on Victor Hugo's novel and featuring one of the most memorable scores of all time. The multi-award-winning Les Misérables is as groundbreaking today as it was when it first premiered in London in 1985.

Join CAMP IDS for 2 weeks of our High School Musical Theatre Camp.

2 Weeks*: May 31 - June 4 & June 7 - 11 ~ $450

*Begins two weeks prior to the start of CAMP IDS.
Camp Hours: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM**
**Please be aware these hours may be added to and adjusted to accommodate the tech week and performance schedule. Please keep this entire week open including the weekends of June 5-6 and the nights of June 7-12.

AUDITIONS: The Week of May 3 - 8

In order to audition, students must be registered for the camp. Students will need to audition prior to the start of camp to secure their role and begin learning their lines and music. At auditions, students will be asked to bring their conflicts for nights and weekends in May.

In addition to the high school students, there are a few roles needing to be filled by younger performers (Young Cosette, Young Eponine, Gavroche, Street Gang). These roles will be filled by auditon only.

A sign-up link for auditions and all applicable audition information will be sent out after students are registered for the camp.

SHOW DATES: Thurs., June 10 & Fri., June 11 (& possibly Sat., June 12) There will be 2 casts and 4 total performances.

Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.

Who is the mystery performer from Corbett Prep making people laugh in the Community School of the Arts production of "The Show Must Go Online" this weekend? You'll have to log in to find out! We have two incredible casts appearing in the 40-minute show – the Crest cast on Friday features students in 1st through 4th grade, and the Colgate cast on Saturday spotlights students in 5th-8th grade. Purchase your tickets online in advance, and you will have a 24-hour window to view the show. It's a great way to spend the evening at home!

CSA is ready to do a musical............A Musical Written to be Rehearsed and Performed Remotely!

A frazzled DRAMA TEACHER sends a video message to her students from her home office, announcing that their
production of Brushes with Greatness: The Dental Hygiene Musical has been canceled! She tries to hang up, but
accidentally leaves the camera running, as she receives a phone call from the principal who tells her: without the musical,
the drama program will be shut down.

Rehearsals will be held on select Wednesdays and Saturdays. It is a very flexible schedule!

Most cast members will rehearse via zoom.
There will be a few students who are asked to rehearse in small groups live. A rehearsal schedule will be given out once casting has taken place.

Once you register, you will receive audition information.

All auditions will be done via video submission & will be due December 6th.

Performance will be online February 19th & 20th

Registration Fee: $150.00
