Still here! I know base class is over 😭😭😭 but if you miss me and my sweet beats 😂 I am teaching tonight at 6:15 at Relevant Church in Ybor. Childcare provided! I will be there every other Wednesday. Hope to see some familiar faces.

Thursday August 16th will be my last base class. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this class since February so I’m extremely sad. The numbers have been dwindling.

I really enjoyed meeting each and every person who came to class. You have no idea how much I enjoyed this class and how much it meant to me when people came! It was fun and relaxed and I got to grow A LOT as a teacher. Learning what works and what doesn’t work and play around with music and try out all my choreography. You guys were awesome. I wish we had childcare at the gym. I feel that was a major roadblock for the class. And the time was tough with kids at home and spouses at work/gone...

I will still be teaching at the YMCAs around Tampa! And also every other Wednesday at 6:30 at Relevant Church in Ybor. So I hope to see some of you! Both are open to everyone (with a membership for the Y BUT no membership needed for the Wednesday Ybor class. Both have childcare!)

Please come next week so we can rock it out! I will be there next Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 as usual 💗💗💗

Even if it’s not my Zumba class I hope everyone is getting out there and moving. It’s so much more than weight loss...

I used to make a lot of excuses not to work out back when I was a Zumba student. The class and the teacher were amazing but it was at 5:45pm. I was tired. It was dinner time. My bra was already off 😂 I wanted to spend time with my baby and husband. But as I kept skipping class my mood kept plummeting. Taking the hour for myself, even just once a week, made me BETTER for my family. 💗

Tuesday Zumba! 5:30!

I had lower numbers last week so feeling hopeful some people come back this week!

Doing Zumba on the base is NOT about the money for me. I get a portion of the 3 dollars you pay so do the math 😂😂😂 I show up every week because a) working out helps my mood/anxiety/health each week. Outside of being a military wife and mom it’s something I do for ME. Only me. My Self care. and secondly b) I truly love seeing all of you there! It’s a place to laugh, have fun, meet new people at MacDill and burn some calories in the process.

So with that said squat squat squat! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

What were you all doing in 2009???? I was living in DC on my own, not married, and working and living with friends! Zumba wasn’t part of my life yet.
