💙An Exciting New Chapter for Lewis! 💙

We have some bittersweet news to share with our Lewis family. While we are sad to see her go, we are incredibly proud to announce that Ms. Hinton has been selected as the new principal of McDonald Elementary! 🎉🎓

Ms. Hinton has been a dedicated leader, advocate for students, and source of support for our staff and families. Her impact on Lewis will be felt for years to come, and we know she will do amazing things in her new role!

As we celebrate Ms. Hinton's next adventure, we are also excited to welcome Ms. Tamon Williams from Bing Elementary as our new Assistant Principal! We look forward to having her join the Panther family and are excited for all that she will bring to our school community. 💙

As we close the chapter on another incredible school year, we want to take a moment to say thank you. 💙

Thank you to our students for their hard work, growth, and countless memories. Thank you to our families for your support, encouragement, and partnership throughout the year. And thank you to our staff for the dedication and care you pour into our Panthers each and every day.

This year was filled with learning, laughter, celebrations, challenges overcome, and milestones reached. We are so proud of all that our students and teachers have accomplished and grateful to have shared these moments together.

Have a safe, fun, and restful summer. We can't wait to see what the future holds for our Panthers. ☀️🐾

👏🐾 Clap Out Reminder! 🐾👏

🎓 Graduating seniors and their families may begin arriving at 10:15 AM and must be signed in before 11:00 AM. Seniors will meet in the media center before the clap out begins. Remember to bring your cap and gown!

⏰ 5th grade parents may view the clap out from the bus loop area outside the front office (just like Book-o-Ween). Clap Out begins promptly at 11:15. Please park at the Temple Terrace Recreation Center and walk over to campus.

👋🏻 All students will dismiss at 11:25 AM once the clap out has concluded.

📝 If your child will have a dismissal change tomorrow, please make sure their teacher is notified in writing before dismissal.

We can’t wait to celebrate our seniors and 5th graders together! 💙💙

🎓Calling All Lewis Alumni Seniors! 🎓

To help our Clap Out run smoothly, we ask that graduating seniors stop by the front office ahead of time (any time during school hours Tuesday-Thursday) with their parents/family members who plan to attend to pre-sign in. Please make sure to bring a physical ID. If you can’t stop by before Friday - no worries!
