University of Tampa- Board of Fellows Business Network Symposium - January 15, 2019. 7:15am networking & breakfast, 7:45am program begins.

Speakers:
Elizabeth Dvorak/ Dick Dvorak, Scott Harrison, and Crystal Morris

The Business Network Symposium (BNS) is a complimentary and informative morning for the Tampa Bay business community and The University of Tampa students. Each BNS program will present three CEOs of local businesses. These businesses are well known, but changing; new and emerging; or new to the Tampa Bay area. The CEOs of these firms will be given the opportunity to share their business story – accomplishments, lessons learned and future plans – with the local community. Each speaker will have 10-15 minutes, and the event will conclude with a Q-and-A session.

Bob Dutkowsky joined Tech Data Corporation in 2006 as CEO and a member of the company’s board of directors. In June 2017, he was elected chairman. Jim Powers is CEO of Crowe Horwath, a public accounting, consulting and technology firm with offices across the globe. Powers has served three terms on the firm’s Executive Committee, including as chair in 2012-2013. He previously provided audit services to publicly and privately owned businesses in a variety of industries. In addition, he has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions and private and public securities offerings, as well as in the areas of strategic planning and business process re-engineering. Crowe Horwath serves clients worldwide as an independent member of Crowe Horwath International, one of the largest global accounting networks in the world with more than 200 independent accounting and advisory services firms in more than 120 countries around the world.

Marc B. Lautenbach is president and CEO of Pitney Bowes, a global technology company that offers products and solutions in the areas of customer information management, location intelligence, customer engagement, shipping and mailing and global ecommerce, servicing approximately 1 million customers in about 100 countries around the world. Established in 1920, Pitney Bowes is a global technology company most known for its postage meters and other mailing equipment and services, and with recent expansions, into global e-commerce, software and other technologies. Before joining Pitney Bowes in 2012, Lautenbach spent 27 years at IBM. His tenure at IBM included senior positions, leading the consulting and systems integration business in North America, sales in the Americas, and leading the small and medium business globally. He also held senior executive positions in IBM Asia Pacific.
