We’re happy to tell you about our latest shipment. Please note, some of the varieties are limited in quantity, so call and speak with someone on Saturday to verify we still have what you’re looking for (813-839-6151)!
As a reminder, if you’re adding a new bush to your garden we also have planting soil that will help to establish the root system and start promoting new growth and new blooms right away! It’s another special recipe developed by Mr. Hardin that is arguably the best rose formula for the price on the market today.
Pinata – climber, cluster blooming that blend in yellow and orange, and change to include scarlet red and pinks, slight fragrance
Grande Dame – hybrid tea, rose pink, 30-35 petal count, intense old rose fragrance
Violet’s Pride – floribunda, named after the Downton Abbey character Lady Violet, lavender blooms with a magenta-colored heart, dense foliage and grapefruit and fruit-like fragrance
Our Lady of Guadalupe – floribunda, Rose for a Cause – 5% of net sales helps the Hispanic College Fund, free-flowering silvery pink blossoms, light sweet fragrance
Granada – hybrid tea, AARS Award Winner, winner of the Gamble medal for fragrance, blend of red/pink/yellow, strong rose fragrance
Beverly –hybrid tea, voted best hybrid tea and most fragrant rose at 2013 Biltmore International Rose Trials, beautiful blend of pinks, lighter on the outside petals and dark lipstick pink on the inside petals, highly fragrant (hints of citrus, peach, pear and plum with base of patchouli and fresh myrtle)
Dakar – hybrid tea, orange-yellow bi-color up to 45 petal count bloom, moderate fragrance
Hot Princess – hybrid tea, lavender tipped with darker purple, very fragrant
Twilight Zone – grandiflora, clusters of deep, velvety magenta blooms overlaid with a wisp of smoke spiral open in old-fashioned, very double form and infuse the air with their intense fragrance of clove and lemony citrus blossom
Kentucky Derby – hybrid tea, dark red double blooms, slight fragrance, this is the rose used to make the rose blanket draped on the winner of the Kentucky Derby
Cary Grant – hybrid tea, bright orange blended with copper and gold, medium to strong spicy fragrance
Don Juan – climber, dark red large bloom with heavy old rose fragrance
Perfume Delight – hybrid tea, hot pink big shapely blooms on long stems, heady damask rose perfume fragrance
Belinda’s Dream – shrub, Earthkind designation, medium pink double blooms, prolific bloomer, very fragrant
Double Delight – hybrid tea, 1977 AARS Award Winner, scarlet buds open to a creamy white-washed pin, ending in buttery yellow and strawberry red, strong spice fragrance
Tuscan Sun – floribunda, J&P 2005 floribunda of the year, bronzed apricot tan double flowers that reveal tons of orange and peach as they open and exude a light spicy aroma
Princess Charlene De Monaco – hybrid tea, Classic English rose form paired with the powerful old rose fragrance, each large blossom has a unique blend of light apricot and shell pink, with elegantly ruffled petal edge
Pope John Paul II – hybrid tea, pure white 50 petal count blooms, very fragrant, Rose for a Cause – 10% of net sales donated to the poor of sub-Saharan Africa
