As spring break comes to an end, kids should be returning to school next week ready to finish the year. Sadly, these are not normal times. School in Florida has been pushed back to April 15th and possibly canceled for the rest of the school year. Parents are now put in a situation of teaching their kids at home while at the same time dealing with the other problems created by the Coronavirus. These are tough times for everyone and those with children are in an especially tough spot.

As we all try our best to follow the guidelines and recommendations to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, we also have to continue to live our lives in within this new framework. A child's education should not be put on hold because of this virus and there are many things parents can do to help a child continue their education even within these guidelines.

This is a great opportunity to work on the things children may have been struggling with throughout the school year. There are online tools and workbooks that can help you along the way. There are also some kids who work better with one on one teaching. As individual in home tutors, we would like to continue to help them.

In the end, the most important thing is to be safe.
