Where Your Child Will Thrive🌱

Exploring the jungle, one leaf at a time!

As part of our It’s a Jungle Summer Camp adventure, our toddlers became little artists while creating their own jungle landscapes using real leaves and paint. Through this hands-on sensory experience, they discovered new textures, explored nature through art, and strengthened fine motor skills all while having so much fun!

At Ivybrook Academy Tampa Palms, meaningful learning happens when children are encouraged to explore, create, and connect with the world around them. Watching their imaginations come to life is our favorite part. 💚

What do you think lives in their jungle? 🐒🌿🐆

🌋 During Superhero Science Week, our Intermediate Class became scientists as they created their own lava experiment!

Hands-on experiences like these spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and make learning unforgettable.

✨ Summer Camp is filling quickly, and we have very limited spaces remaining. Contact us to enroll today!

Their routine doesn't have to end just because school did. ☀️

The summer slide is real. Without structured learning, children can lose momentum in focus, social confidence, and the daily rhythm that supports their development.

Our preschool summer camps are designed specifically for children ages 2 to 6.

Through our blended Montessori and Reggio Emilia approach, your child stays engaged with hands-on STEAM, creative art, outdoor exploration, and the kind of meaningful social interaction that builds real friendships.

Same philosophy. Same intentional learning.

What happens when superheroes and science come together?

A week filled with wonder, creativity, and discovery.

During our Superhero Science camp, children designed their own superhero masks, explored the science behind bubbles and force fields, built catapults, and investigated the surprising power of static electricity. Through each experience, they were encouraged to ask questions, test ideas, make predictions, and learn through hands-on exploration.

The joy on their faces as they discovered something new was the highlight of our week.

Summer camp is just getting started, and we can’t wait for the adventures ahead.

It’s not too late to register and join us for a summer of learning, exploration, and unforgettable memories.

When parents think about kindergarten readiness, they often think about letters, numbers, and early literacy skills. While those skills certainly matter, research consistently shows that social-emotional development is equally predictive of long-term academic success.

At Ivybrook Academy, social-emotional learning is not a separate subject on the schedule. It's in everything we do. Group projects, collaborative play, and guided conflict resolution all give children daily practice in empathy, self-regulation, and communication.

By the time our students leave Ivybrook, they are academically and emotionally prepared for what comes next.

Our very first graduating class 🎓🤍

Watching these little learners grow into confident, curious, and joyful children has been such a special journey. From first days filled with tears and tiny steps to big smiles, friendships, and unforgettable memories — this class will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Tomorrow, they peace out of Pre-K in style 😎✌️ and head off to kindergarten ready to shine. We are so proud of each and every one of them, and so grateful to the families who trusted us to be part of these early years.

Once our first class, always part of our family. Class of 2026, we love you big 💫

This summer, your child can discover their inner artist!

A week of summer camp at Ivybrook can look like:

🎨 Painting to the rhythm of music and letting the beat guide the brush
🧲 Using magnets to create art
🌻 Learning to paint like Van Gogh and Monet

It is expressive, imaginative, and rooted in the belief that every child has an artist inside them.

Summer is almost here – register your child for a summer of creativity!

Inventive spelling is a powerful step in early literacy.

Using the movable alphabet, Jaden is doing far more than memorizing letters or copying words. he is learning how language works by hearing and building words sound by sound.

When he writes “kat” for cat or “iz” for is, he is listening carefully to each sound and matching those sounds to letters independently. These spelling attempts show phonetic awareness, critical thinking, and a true understanding of how words are formed.

In Montessori education, we value the process because strong readers and writers are developed through understanding language, not simply memorizing it. We love watching language come to life through hands-on learning 💚

This week in our “MasterChef Preschool” era 🍕✨

As part of our cooking exploration this week, our students made their very own bagel pizzas for snack in class! From spreading sauce to adding toppings, each child had the opportunity to create their own masterpiece while building independence and confidence through hands-on learning.

In true Montessori fashion, this activity was about so much more than making food. Students worked in pairs, practiced patience while waiting their turn during our work cycle, collaborated with classmates, followed multi-step directions, and participated in practical life experiences that strengthen fine motor skills, concentration, and social development.

The final step required teamwork with teachers as we safely baked each pizza under close supervision before enjoying the delicious results together

Learning becomes more meaningful when children can touch, create, explore, and experience it for themselves. ✨
