🎸⚡ Adum Modern Bands at FMEA Crossover Festival! 🤘🏻

Our Adum PYP & MYP Modern Bands spent the day diving into songwriting, digital music production, live performances, and workshops led by industry professionals alongside talented student musicians from across the state. Students also had the incredible opportunity to have their performances professionally recorded on stage!

Huge shout out to the clinicians, organizers, and FMEA for creating such a magical and inspiring experience for our students. We’re so proud of the confidence, creativity, musicianship, and heart our students brought to USF’s campus today! 💙🎤🎹🥁🎸

🎸🎤 WHAT. A. NIGHT. 🎤🎸

Yesterday, both our Adum PYP and MYP Modern Bands had an amazing time performing at the HCEMEC Modern Band Spirit Night hosted by Westshore Pizza South Tampa! 🔥

We were proud to represent Adum as one of the South Tampa modern band programs invited to participate in this special event. Our students absolutely rocked the stage, connected with fellow young musicians from across the area, and helped raise money in support of music education programs throughout our community. 🎶💙

Huge thanks to Hillsborough County Elementary Music Educators Association - Hcemec, Westshore Pizza South Tampa, and the incredible HCPS South Tampa music teachers who teamed up to make the magic happen. Opportunities like these remind us how powerful collaboration and community can be for our students.

We are so proud to see our Music Ambassadors Program (MAP) featured on TV! 🎶✨

MAP is an innovative student leadership initiative at Adum K-8 that empowers young musicians to use their voices, talents, and creativity to advocate for music education and serve the community through the arts. Through performances, outreach projects, partnerships, and public speaking opportunities, our students are learning that music can truly make a difference.

A huge shout out to our incredible music educators Jon Casañas, Juan Tellado, and Dawson Worley for helping lead and grow this meaningful work alongside our amazing student ambassadors. We are also incredibly grateful to our Adum administration, faculty, and staff for continuously supporting innovative programs and opportunities like these that help our students shine both in and out of the classroom.

We are proud to continue creating experiences that inspire leadership, creativity, collaboration, and service through music.

Our Evening of Arts and Inquiry was something special. It was filled with energy, joy, and the kind of music-making that reminds you why this work matters so much! 💙

From start to finish, our PYP musicians and music ambassadors showed up in a BIG way. Incredible performances, confident student voices, and moments of pure connection with our families and community. Whether it was on stage or in the crowd…you could feel it.

Inspired by our partners at Out of Zion, our students are researching adaptive tools and strategies that help remove physical and cognitive barriers in the music classroom. We’re learning, asking questions, and turning inspiration into impact — because music belongs to everyone.
