Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends of CCCS,
I want to remind everyone that our Matching Challenge, generously issued by Mr. Ernie Marquart and Dr. Bill & Mrs. Donna Davison, ends on June 30th.
Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve already matched $20,208 of their $50,000 offer! We’re deeply grateful to all who have donated so far and helped us make the most of this generous opportunity.
But we’re not there yet, and there’s still time! Every gift counts, and your donation can still be doubled to help us close the gap. You could be the final boost we need to cross the finish line!
Please consider what you might be able to give before the end of our fiscal year on June 30th. Visit our Annual Giving page and make twice the impact https://factsmgtadmin.com/give/appeal/szDuwKOyd
In Christ,
Mrs. Kelly Kearney
Principal

Today the CCCS staff gathered one last time to celebrate the closing of another fantastic school year. We say goodbye to some familiar faces that will certainly be missed; and we took some time to celebrate and also welcome a new little cougar that should be joining the CCCS family in September. Bittersweet moments to remember as we enter summer break.

The Lisa O’Neil Scholarship was founded in 2022 by Mr. John O’Neil in memory of his beloved wife, Lisa, who was a great friend of CCCS. As a parent, member of the Parents’ Club, and then as an employee, Mrs. O’Neil left a legacy of love and generosity at our school.
Each year, this scholarship is awarded to middle school students who embody a spirit of giving, compassion and excellence, as Lisa herself did.
Congratulations to this year’s recipients of this special scholarship for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.

To celebrate finishing the book Holes, the fifth-grade class enjoyed a book-themed party. The students were met by the Warden who gave them instructions for the day. They began the morning by writing letters home to their parents, just like Stanley did in the book. They watched the movie while munching on popcorn and sunflower seeds. They also got a taste of Green Lake history by drinking our own version of "Sploosh." It seemed to have the same effect on them as it did on Stanley and Zero!
