Just remembering some amazing surrealist art that students created last May! Next month Ms. Hall and Ms. Molina’s students will be studying the work of some great Hispanic artists and creating their own work inspired by it.

Posted • Showing off my 8th grader’s work. Josue Velez’s has been sketching every day in class. I finally asked him him to show me the work. The theme is History: Titanic,Vietnam, Hiroshima, 9/11, World War 2. So happy I give him time to sketch. I would’ve missed out.

We are so proud of 8th grader Celie Ngo and 7th grader Allie Lewis whose work has been selected for the Statewide Dalí Museum Student Surrealist Art Exhibit this year! This show features just 26 middle school artists and 88 high school artists from around the state of Florida. The show is on view now and will stay until August 21,2022. Admission to the show is free. Congratulations Celie and Allie!

The Dali Museum’s Junior Docent Art Camp (in-person and virtual are both offered)
Junior Docent Art Camp is open to Elementary and Middle School students, ages 9-14. Students will be divided into smaller break-out groups to allow for age-appropriate instruction and social interaction.
