Here at LASA we try to do the following: Promoting Diversity, Involving Tradition, Accepting Change, Learning about our Community
The Latin American Student Association (L.A.S.A.) was founded at the University of South Florida in 1986. We are an organization that encourages and supports the integration of Latin, and non-Latin students into the University of South Florida and the Tampa Bay Area. " my experience dealing with different kinds of people will allow me to effectively communicate with vendors and external organizations to partner up, mainly with other Latin organizations. Meet Luiz! Luiz is a third year student at USF. " I have a strict discipline regarding deadlines, so I can make sure everyone will receive my reports ahead of time. Additionally, my experience with Student Government allows me to maintain a good relationship with our Student Government in USF. I am also good at researching prices and verify the cost/benefit of each purchase to make sure the club's money is being spent appropriately."

Meet our 2020-2021 candidates for Social Media Chair!!
Meet America! America is a third year student at USF. “I am a very easy going and sociable individual. I am always on top of what needs to be done and having this opportunity will help me stay social at USF.”
Meet Brianna! Brianna is a first year student at USF. “I am also running for social media chair because in our day and age social media has become a big aspect of all our lives and I feel like I am very fluent whether it be in Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, GroupMe, etc.”
Meet Maria-Fernanda! Maria-Fernanda is a second year student at USF. “I wish to continue helping out LASA and help spread the word about this student org. I was recruitment chair my first year at USF and loved spreading the word about LASA, as social media chair I would be doing a similar approach yet through a different medium.”
Meet Gisselle! Gisselle is a second year student at USF. “I am interested in running for Social Media Chair, every experience we make together as a board, club, community, and essentially a family should be captured and shared with others. This can optimize the members of the club, and increase the number of participants in future events, competitions, questions, conferences, etc.”
