You all showed up in costume, in character, and with so much heart. The music was magical, the creativity was off the charts, and the courage to perform was downright spooktacular! 💀🎶

I couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you — you truly brought the (haunted) house down! 🧛‍♀️🕷️✨

🤘🏽🤘🏽These students rocked today!!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽 Students of Merinn Jacobs Music Studio and my own students had such a fun time together at the Friday Morning Musicale Building performing on a 9 ft Steinway D (yes I’m serious, it lives there) THESE PERFORMERS ROCKED!!! 🤩🤩🤩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 Special congratulations to graduating seniors AND 10 year winners and Laila Clark Diggs!!🏆🥹👩🏼‍🎓👩🏾‍🎓🥰

Our studio and the amazing Merinn Jacobs Music Studio had an awesome time this December spreading some musical holiday cheer! We played a virtual concert for our families and played for the residents at The Bridges Retirement Community in Riverview, FL. 🥰🎄Cheers and Happy Holidays to all! 🎶✨

🕶️✨IN OUR RECITAL ERA✨🕶️Celebrating a glorious recital season! 🎶👏🏼Thrilled to have shared the joy of music and the hard work of these amazing young performers at our in-person recital with the violin and piano students of Merinn Jacobs Music Studio. Then my virtual students put on an incredible show with participants from across the USA! Big Congrats to 10-year winner and 5 year winners Dean Davis and Joshua Williams. 🏆 You guys rock!! 🤘🏽

Yesterday it was Spontaneous Stuffie Day: Snoopy Edition! 🐾🦴💗 All of us had a stuffie close by and two of us had Snoopy🖤🤍🖤

On the anniversary of the eminent Romantic composer Frederic Chopin’s death - 17 October 1849, I’m remembering 2008-walking through Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris with my Aunt Wanda, placing flowers on the grave of the brilliant master! 🎶 “Simplicity is the final achievement. Wondering what you’re lookin’ at here? Only the newest hi-tech advancement in practice technology… Post-It Glasses!! Can’t stop looking down while you play? Just add Post-It notes to the bottom half of your glasses (I used my cheap blue light glasses from Amazon since I don’t wear glasses!) and BOOM! You can see your music but you can’t see your hands. Credit to Mackenzie and her mama and Gwendolyn for this amazing practice tool idea.. we workshopped it together in class! HAPPY PRACTICING EVERYBODY!
