Since our founding as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit back in 2007, we have prided ourselves in meeting our mission to provide quality educational experiences and content for the global orthopaedic surgery community. After 15 years of leading our organization, Dr. Norman Scott retired in February of 2022. Under his leadership, ICJR offered over 120 CME-accredited courses, more than 25 international conferences, and over 10,000 videos, articles, clinical reports, and news summaries to the orthopaedic community. As you may have noticed over the past few months, ICJR is no longer offering courses or educational content on our website. The retirement of Dr. Scott left a void that the organization was unable to fill, thus we made the difficult decision to cease operations after the 2022 DAA Hip Course this past October.
We know the closure of ICJR leaves a gap in the educational offerings for our colleagues in orthopaedics and we want to provide suggestions for other organizations that offer high-quality, continuing education opportunities into the future.
