Tampa Preparatory School Alumni Association

Upper School students had the chance to participate in a Lunch & Learn session yesterday with Tampa Prep alumni who work in the legal, engineering and technology fields to learn more about their professions and the paths they each took to get there.
Three additional sessions are planned in April, focused on health care; finance, accounting & banking; and sales & marketing.

We are currently looking for alumni volunteers to join us on campus as guest speakers for our upcoming Lunch & Learn Series. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with current students and share your professional journey, experiences, and industry insights.

The Class of 2026 enjoyed a Career Fair this week, and had the opportunity to meet and talk with representatives from a variety of different companies including non-profits, legal, healthcare and more.

In recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Tampa Prep was proud to host speaker (and Prep alum) Michael Igel '98, who is the chair of the Florida Education Commissioner’s Task Force on Holocaust Education and chair emeritus of the Board of Director of the Florida Holocaust Museum.
Michael shared his family’s story with students, staff and faculty and discussed the importance of remembering the Holocaust and its lessons for the world today to promote understanding and to prevent hatred and intolerance.
