Payment Policy
Tuition must be submitted at least three days prior to starting a paid lesson or class. The student is considered enrolled for a lesson or class once the tuition and registration form has been received. The student's fee for non-sufficient or uncollected checks is $30. Attendance and Make-Up Policy
At the beginning of any tutelage, specific days and times for lessons are agreed upon between students and the studio. If the student is late to a lesson, any make-up time given at the end of the lesson will be at the studio's discretion. Regular attendance is expected. As soon as possible the student should notify the teacher of any absence or tardiness by calling and/or texting (656) 200-0520.
* Cancellations within 24 hours of the lesson will be forfeited.
* No-shows will also be forfeited.
* Make-up lessons are only available within 14 days (before or after) the canceled lesson and must be requested by the student in writing.
* Make-up lessons cannot be carried over to the next regular lesson.
* If a teacher is absent or otherwise unavailable, a make-up lesson will be scheduled at the teacher’s discretion.
* Make-up lessons cannot be rescheduled once they are booked.
* If the student misses a scheduled make-up lesson, that lesson will be forfeited.
* Postponing the lesson planned is only allowed under extenuating circumstances and must be requested in writing. BassX: Bass Playing Taught reserves the right to discontinue the lesson if the postponement exceeds three months in length. Refunds are not given in this case. Bad Weather Days
BassX: Bass Playing Taught may close due to inclement weather. BassX: Bass Playing Taught will send an email regarding any such cancellations. Make-up lessons may be rescheduled at the discretion and availability of the teacher. Registration/Refund Policy
Students are considered registered until BassX: Bass Playing Taught receives and approves a written request to withdraw. Notification of withdrawal from lessons or classes must be received in writing by BassX: Bass Playing Taught and is effective from the date the written withdrawal is received, not the date of the last lesson attended. Verbal teacher notification is not considered formal notice of withdrawal. A student's lesson will be canceled if two or more lessons are missed without written notification and the remainder of the tuition fees are forfeited. If a student discontinues a formal teaching arrangement with BassX: Bass Playing Taught before the third lesson of the scheduled days and times, a refund will be given for 50% of the remaining tuition. Refunds will not be issued after the third lesson except under certain circumstances and with a written request. In the event of prolonged absence due to an emergency, written requests for refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis by BassX: Bass Playing Taught. Bassx™: Basic Bass Guitar Playing Taught reserves the right to discontinue a student’s participation in lessons at any time if the teacher is made to feel uncomfortable by the student in any way, shape, or form. BassX: Bass Playing Taught also reserves the right to suspend a student’s study if a required tuition payment has not been made within two weeks of its due date. The full tuition is still owed in this case regardless of whether or not the lessons are reinstated. Liability
