Join our Fatherhood Team for a fun Movie Day!

Family Nurturing Center of MA was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Stephen J. Bavolek, Ph.D. on Thursday, November 8, 2023. Dr. Bavolek was the principle author of Nurturing Parenting® Programs as well as a highly regarded leader in the fields of child abuse and neglect treatment and prevention and parenting education. His research and thinking were pivotal in defining FNC's role at its founding, and his influence and legacy will remain in our ongoing work of building nurturing communities. FNC staff who had the pleasure of working with Dr. Bavolek remember him as smart, warm, kind, and fun – a treasured colleague and true nurturer. We offer our heartfelt condolences and love to Dr. Bavolek's family and friends.
